Transfers - 4mm Scale


I have acquired a limited number of 4mm scale GCR transfers which were marketed some time ago by R&E Models.

There are three sheets:

Wagons - White waterslide - 5.00

Passenger - Multicolour press-on - 4.00

Miscellaneous including Locomotives - Multicolour waterslide 7.00

Postage in stiff card-backed envelope (UK) 1.00 up to 10 sheets. Outside UK please ask for quote.

Wagons Sample - Complete sheet measures 17cm x 12cm.

These wagon transfers are of the waterslide type, with a carrier film covering the whole sheet, so you will need to cut as close as possible to the item to be transferred to avoid the adhesive medium being too obtrusive. (I did not do that when I tested the sample!) Despite their age they stick well onto the target surface, but it will be necessary to protect them with a coat of varnish, which will also reduce the 'halo' effect.

Passenger Sample -Complete sheet measures 19.5cm x 7cm.

These transfers are of the press-on type, with an adhesive layer which is slightly larger than the individual items on the sheet. Because of their age there will be some failures when fixing the lettering to the model. It will be necessary to protect them with a coat of varnish (which I did not do!) This will also reduce the 'halo' effect.
